Aurora man robbed at knife point
Aurora police are investing an armed robbery that occurred late Wednesday night in a residential area on North Park Avenue.
A 36-year-old man reported that at about about 11:50 p.m. that he was getting out of his vehicle when he was approached by a man who displayed a knife, said Aurora Police spokesman Dan Ferrelli. The incident occurred in an area with single family homes in the 300 block of North Park Avenue, police said.
The offender, who "held the victim up at knifepoint," was described as a black man, 6-feet tall and 160 pounds, Ferrelli said.
Police said the offender took cash and identification cards from the victim and ran from the area. The victim was not injured during the incident.
