Neither book-burning nor stupidity illegal

In regard to Kathleen Parker's column titled, "A letter to Muslims worldwide," Parker starts by saying that "I am not representing anyone. I can't claim to speak for anyone but myself."

Yet multiple times she refers to how most American feel and uses "we" like she is speaking for us.

In this country we have the right to burn any book including the Quran just like anyone in their country can burn the U.S. flag as seen on CNN. Do you not have cable TV?

Your sentiment about whether we all can get along does not touch on the fact that some Muslims - and I am not speaking for all - live to kill Americans. Again, please refer to CNN.

Some journalists do have a field day when a story like this one comes along, but that does not qualify it as news and, yes, we do agree on one thing: Our laws do not forbid stupidity. This is obvious when you get paid to write a column.
