Bible, flag burning also deserve outrage

No one seems to get upset when the American flag is burned or the Bible is burned. Yet, when holy books of other cultures are compromised, there is an international outcry. What is the problem here? Have we become a nation so accepting of other cultures that we have lost our own definition?
