Elgin-Larkin game moved to 1:30 p.m.

Saturday's Elgin vs. Larkin football game at Memorial Field will start at 1:30 p.m.

The game was originally scheduled for an 11:30 a.m. start but Larkin athletic director Chris Neibch reported Monday that the sophomore game will kick off at 11:15 a.m. and the varsity contest at 1:30 p.m.

This will be the 50th meeting (49th varsity game) between Elgin and Larkin on the football field and with a win, Elgin can notch the 500th win in Maroons' football history.

Elgin won last year's game 28-21, taking the Town Jug back to the east side for the first time in seven years.
