Let Dems know the orgy is over

Well, I'll be darned. Every Democrat seeking re-election this November has been transmogrified into an "independent," curiously mum about his or her party affiliation. Up until spring, Democratic politicians sold their votes with abandon to Reid and Pelosi, and offered their very souls to the demon of ideology.

Now suddenly they are putting as much distance as they can between themselves and Obama, without falling entirely off the face of the earth, to be swallowed, thence, by the dragons of right-wing talk radio.

For months, ignoring public opinion, they passed appropriation after appropriation, until the deficit reached stratospheric heights, and the economy sagged from the weight of their hubris. Today these same Democrats stand, in their campaign ads, "for the people's interests." Do they think we're that stupid?

True, the Republicans were not saints or geniuses either, when they controlled Congress. But they at least had some sense of reality - some inkling of where spending ends, and insanity begins. In any case, forget about partisanship. Think "conservative" instead. Imagine your children and grandchildren, and the tax burden they would bear under the regime of Keynesian disciples gone mad, and then decide in November on that basis.

Do you want our lives run from Washington, D. C.? Or would you prefer America to be the grand, chaotic, but cohesive organism that it was designed to be?

Democrats pretending to be conservatives are grotesque enough. Look behind their masks. Let them know the orgy is over. Vote Conservative.
