Roskam honors Des Plaines company for 55 years in business
Des Plaines Office Equipment celebrated 55 years in business this summer with a ceremony at its Elk Grove Village location.
President Chip Miceli, of Palatine, and VP Vic Miceli, of Inverness, along with their leading team members, were recognized by local business leaders and members of area chambers of commerce.
Also on-hand was U.S. Rep. Peter Roskam, a Wheaton Republican running for re-election this November against Wheaton Democrat Benjamin Lowe.
Roskam presented Chip Miceli with a citation from Congress commending the company for its longevity and success. Elk Grove Village Mayor Craig Johnson lauded the company in a letter, as well.
Des Plaines Office Equipment provides print management and document generation equipment and solutions. It employs nearly 80 people at three locations and makes between $12 million and $14 million in annual sales.
The Miceli brothers are second-generation owners of the family business.
