Last week: Libertyville def. Mundelein, 48-7; Lake Forest def. Zion-Benton, 42-7.

Outlook: It will be a battle of high-scoring offenses on Lake Forest's artificial surface. Despite the graduation of quarterback Tommy Rees (Notre Dame), Lake Forest has continued to put up points, as the Scouts have averaged 37.3 points per game and have scored 42 each of the last two weeks. On homecoming against Zion-Benton last week, Lake Forest quarterback Jordan Beck threw 2 TD passes and ran for another, as the hosts put up 42 points in the first half. ... Libertyville's 1-2 punch of quarterback A.J. Schurr and wide receiver Jeremy Birck had their way against Mundelein, hooking up 3 times on TD passes. Schurr threw for a school-record 307 yards on 20-of-27 passing. Birck caught 9 passes. ... Libertyville's 103 points scored are 9 fewer than Lake Forest's total.
