Build-A-Bear coming to Gurnee

Children will soon be able to stuff teddy bears at a new Build-A-Bear Workshop coming to Gurnee Mills.

The popular shop is expected to open Friday, Oct. 8, at the Gurnee shopping center. "We are very excited to welcome Build-A-Bear Workshop," said Randy Ebertowski, Gurnee Mills general manager.

The new store adds to the mix of more than 200 outlet and retail stores at the mall, including recent open this of Stride Rite Outlet Toys R' Us, A'GACI, Aerie by American Egle.

In addition, Kenneth Cole Company Store is slated to debut at Gurnee Mills during early October.
