Group holds community meeting on housing for the mentally ill

The group that wants to build supportive, low-income housing for mentally ill people in north Arlington Heights will hold an informational meeting at 7:30 p.m. today at Kingswood United Methodist Church, 401 W. Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove.

The plan is for an apartment house just east of Arlington Heights Road and south of Dundee Road. The plan was rejected by the Arlington Heights Village Board but might be resubmitted.
