Teenage parents charged in death of infant son

Two Chicago teenage parents are charged in the death of their 3-month old son.

Authorities in Chicago charged Joel Ballard and April Bainter on Sunday with aggravated battery to a child and endangering the life of a child.

The two 18-year-olds were charged after the Cook county Medical Examiner's office ruled last Thursday's death of the boy a homicide following an autopsy that revealed the infant had fractures to his ribs and skull.
