ROMEOVILLE -- The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency says crude oil has started leaking from a pipeline in the southwest suburbs.
Illinois EPA spokeswoman Maggie Carson says both fire and municipal officials are investigating the Thursday afternoon oil leak in Romeoville. Officials say the 34-inch pipeline that is leaking is near a refinery.
EPA officials say no injuries have been reported. They also say officials from the company that is in charge of the pipeline also are investigating.
