Can't get facts from lame-stream media

Sgt. Joe Friday on the old TV show "Dragnet" reminded us that facts do matter. Americans that depend on the lame-stream media just don't get the real facts. So here are a few important facts on what the American people think about the Obama administration and the Democrat-controlled Congress from Rasmussen Polls.

About 62 percent of Americans think that our country would be better off if most political incumbents are not re-elected. About 48 percent of Americans consider Obama a "radical." About 56 percent want Obama Care repealed. About 71 percent of Americans think that we are still in a recession despite Obama's "summer of recovery" and most view the Obama "stimulus plan" a failure. About 54 percent of Americans strongly disapprove of Obama. Only 29 percent of Americans think that our country is headed in the right direction while the vast majority thinks that our country is headed in the wrong direction. Even Mort Zuckerman, wealthy editor-in-chief of US News & World Report and devoted Democrat, recently called the current Obama administration and Democrat-controlled Congress "the most fiscally irresponsible government in American history."

You won't see these harsh facts regarding the American people's overwhelming dissatisfaction with Obama and the Democrat-controlled Congress in the lame-stream media. Why is that? Well some new facts just released give us a clue.

About 88 percent of the campaign contributions made by lame-stream TV personalities and their support staff went to Obama and the Democrat Party. Could it be that their liberal bias motivates them to hide the truth from the American people in the hope of changing the outcome of this November's elections? No doubt some liberals will consider this letter a rant, but as Sgt. Friday would insist, I am just providing the facts, ma'am.
