Arlington Heights restaurant broken into
Arlington Heights police responded to an alarm at Tore and Luke's restaurant Thursday morning and found the restaurant had been broken into.
Police were alerted about 2:45 a.m. and found ajar the rear corner door of the restaurant at 1350 East Rand Road, officer Doug Hajek said.
As of Thursday morning, it appeared that nothing had been taken from the restaurant, but owners are conducting an inventory check.
Police found pry marks on the back door and on the door's lock, Hajek said. They also found that the restaurant's alarm panel was pulled from the wall and placed in the kitchen sink.
