Sportsplex not wanted in Lakewood

How does a small town like Lakewood take over a small community like Colleens Cote of Huntley and build a sportsplex with no money? Annexing our community and building a sportsplex will not only raise taxes but will disrupt a very quiet and peaceful way of life.

Nobody in this area wants this sportsplex but Lakewood, so why don't they build it there? Why by us where people will move, there will be more traffic and noise, not to mention problems with the water table. This is a no-win situation for our community.

Why don't they build it next to their golf course and lake?
