Elginbull; Phyllis T. Durand, 49, of the 200 block of Douglas Avenue, was charged with aggravated assault Tuesday after pointing a knife at another woman, police said. Her bail was set at $5,000 and she is due in court Sept. 7 at the Kane County Judicial Center. bull; Carmen D. Singletary Williams, 45, of the 0-99 block of Middlesex Drive, Carpentersville, was charged with felony retail theft Tuesday; police say she tried to steal more than $150 in merchandise from Meijer, in the 800 block of South Randall Road. Police say those items include a pellet gun, several bottles of alcohol and clothes. Her bail was set Wednesday morning at $15,000 and she is due in court Sept. 10 at the Kane County Judicial Center.bull; Laron G. Sutton, 19, of the 300 block of South Belmont, was arrested on a marijuana possession charge at 11:24 p.m. Tuesday after a traffic stop for speeding at South Liberty and Dwight streets, reports said. Officers smelled pot smoke on Sutton and found remnants of two joints in his ashtray, reports said. He is due in court on Sept. 17, reports said.bull; April D.
