Book program for teens:Sixth- through 12th-graders can enjoy some pizza and talk about books during a program called Teen Book Bites at the Ela Area Public Library in Lake Zurich. Programs are set for 4 p.m. on Sept. 3, Oct. 29 and Dec. 3. The program is free, but registration is required. It'll be at Round Lake Beach Cultural Civic Center, off Route 83 and Hook Drive. Featured will be Bob Thomas of Career Search Strategy and Jennifer London of Accountemps. One of Thomas' workshop sessions will focus on interviewing techniques that work and dressing for success. The course will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15 to 11:45 a.m. or 6:15 to 8:45 p.m. All students must attend a mandatory orientation and appraisal on Sept. 14.
