Naperville police investigate stabbing

Police said an Aurora woman was stabbed Monday night at a Naperville apartment complex.

Police have made no arrests, and investigators were interviewing the woman to determine what may have sparked the attack. Naperville authorities said they believe the 32-year-old woman was involved in a "domestic-related incident" before the stabbing.

The victim, who police did not identify, was first transported to Edward Hospital and then airlifted to Loyola Medical Center in Maywood where she remained Tuesday with wounds to her neck. Police said the injuries were severe, but not life-threatening.

Police said the woman was found at 8:11 p.m. Monday in a parking lot of the apartment complex in the 700 block of Inland Circle on the city's far northwest side. She was conscious when paramedics arrived. Police have not located any witnesses and they say the incident appears to be isolated.

Anyone with information is urged to call police at (630) 305-6224.
