Warren should share site with community

I was one of the Warren Township voters who last April voted in favor of the purchase of the 50 acres north of Gurnee Mills by the township.

I hope now that Warren Township High School District 121 owns this that they work out an agreement with the Warren Football Association, Lacrosse Club and township to develop the sports fields and additional open space for the area. This is sorely needed at this time.

I understand the need for future use, but we need the fields for our youth sports and the safety of those trying to watch the games.
