Road closures in South ElginDaily lane closures beginning today on Route 25 between Hickory Lane and Gilbert Street in South Elgin will reduce traffic to one lane. Closures will occur between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and last for five to seven days. During the same week, Route 31 at McLean Boulevard in South Elgin will be reduced traffic to one lane. It will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and last for three or four days.Geneva pizza benefitThe Geneva Academic Foundation is having a fundraiser Tuesday at California Pizza Kitchen at the Geneva Commons shopping center on Randall Road.
