Eisai, Abbott seek wider use of Humira in Japan
Eisai Co. and Abbott Laboratories are seeking Japanese approval for wider use of the arthritis medicine Humira.
The companies sought approval to use the monoclonal antibody medication for the treatment of juvenile idiopathic arthritis, Eisai said today in a statement on its website.
Abbott is based in Libertyville Township.
