State of Naperville parks

The Naperville Park District's commissioners intend to resurrect a previous tradition of hosting an annual state of the park district meeting.

Commissioners agreed Thursday evening to invite key city officials and lead off the February board meeting with the annual address. "We just want to share with the community the good things that have happened and the things we'll be working on," President Mike Reilly said.

"We've looked to put this together in the last quarter of the year so we can present it very early in the year to let people know where their money's going, how it's being spent and what's on the horizon."
