Police find body in submerged car in Conn.

STRATFORD, Conn. -- Police in Connecticut say a 22-year-old man who was reported missing this week has been found dead in a car submerged in the Housatonic River in Stratford.

Police say a boater discovered the car at about 6 p.m. Thursday when his vessel's propeller hit the vehicle near Outriggers Restaurant. Police dive teams were called to the scene and found the man's body after pulling the car out of the water.

Authorities say the man is a Stratford resident who was reported missing on Wednesday. His name hasn't been released yet.

Police say they didn't see any signs of foul play. The medical examiner's office will be performing an autopsy to try to determine how the man died.
