Wolves open AHL season vs. San Antonio on Oct. 8

The Chicago Wolves will open the 2010-11 season on the road against the San Antonio Rampage at the AT&T Center on Oct. 8, with their 17th home opener against the Milwaukee Admirals on Oct. 16.

The Wolves will play 27 of 40 home games at Allstate Arena on the weekend, which includes 14 Saturday matchups and nine Sunday matinees.

The Wolves will battle one new opponent this season: the Oklahoma City Barons.

The schedule also is highlighted by three morning games, including the Wolves second annual school-day game, which will take place when the Texas Stars visit the Allstate Arena on Jan. 12 at 11 a.m.
