Arrogance alive and well in White House

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. So goes the old saying. I'll bet Michelle Obama has to be proud of her country now. Think about it. She went from little Susie South Side to Marie Antoinette in less than 25 years. Her vacation cost $75,000 a day, at a time when 17 percent of her countrymen are out of work and while the rest toil to make up the shortfall. While the Gulf struggles to recover she goes on holiday, in Spain, and spends in a day what many families do not spend on vacations in an entire lifetime.

"We all have to make sacrifices." The in-your-face arrogance of this administration knows no boundaries.

Since I first registered to vote in 1974 I have never relished the prospect of voting more than I do this November. "Let us eat cake," huh? The party is Nov. 2, and we'll be there. Count on it!
