Three Bartlett teens charged in golf course rain shelter arson

Three Bartlett teens have been charged with burning down a rain shelter at a suburban golf course causing approximately $15,000 in damages.

Police responded to the Bartlett Hills Golf Club at 6 a.m. on August 10 to investigate damage to the shelter and to a nearby 13th hole green. Following a lengthy investigation, Bartlett police charged Joseph McCullough, 18, Sean Kolber, 18, and Sean Regan, 18, with a class 2 felony for arson.

The police said the teens poured gasoline on the shelter and used an aerosol accelerant to burn it down.

Police said the men were attending a party on the 600 block of Timber Ridge Drive before they set fire to the shelter.

The men were released on a $25,000 individual bond. They are scheduled to appear in court on September 30.
