Hanover Pk. gets defibrillators
The village of Hanover Park has placed 13 new automated cardiac defibrillators into service.
Designed for use by people without medical training, the equipment is the first line of defense against sudden cardiac arrest.
The units are replacing old village-owned defibrillators that no longer meet FDA standards. They're being placed in staff vehicles and at village hall, public works, the sewage treatment plant and other work areas.
For information on CPR and ACD training, call the Hanover Park Fire Department at (630) 736-6800.
