Eldest Christensen brother lives to ski
A short time ago you pointed out the physical activities of the Christensen brothers in Elk Grove. As the oldest brother, I'm quite aware of the physical activities of my siblings.
First, the oldest Christensen was the founder of the Grand Prix Ski Club that met initially in Mt. Prospect.
Initially his duties included being president and director of instruction. Art also was president of America's most famous model club, The Aeronuts. His written articles have been published by various hobby books and magazines but ski instruction is his number one passion.
The ski club has taught well over 125 beginning skiers. The ski club has had regular trips to Colorado, California and Boyne Mountain in Michigan.
Weekly trips are scheduled for club members who were satisfied to stay close to home. If any club members have problems with their skiing, contact Art Christensen.
