Nominations sought for Batavia's '20 Under 30'

Do you know a deserving young professional in the Fox Valley area? If so, you'll want to nominate him or her for Batavia Chamber of Commerce's "20 Under 30" recognition dinner, which will be Thursday, Sept. 23, at Lincoln Inn Banquets, 1345 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia.

"We are looking to identify the next generation of business leaders in the Fox Valley," said Roger Breisch, executive director of Batavia Chamber of Commerce.

"If you know an enthusiastic, energetic and creative young person you think could become a business leader, please nominate them for this honor."

A nomination form and more information is available by calling (630) 879-7134 or e-mailing info@bataviachamber.org. Nominations, with a $50 nomination fee, are due to the chamber office by Friday, Aug. 27.

From those nominated, 20 young leaders will be chosen. The nominee must work in Batavia or for a chamber member outside Batavia.

Tickets cost $40 and can be purchased on the chamber's website, bataviachamber.org, or by calling (630) 879-7134. The evening's agenda begins with a reception and cocktails at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and recognition at 7:30 p.m.
