New board chairman at Edward Hospital

A Naperville man, Joseph Beatty, has been appointed chairman of the Edward Hospital board of trustees.

Beatty has been a member of the Naperville hospital's board since 2004.

He is president and CEO of Telular Corp., a privately held provider of wireless monitoring solutions headquartered in Chicago.

He has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and a MBA from the University of Chicago.
