Bataviabull; Someone smashed a driver's-side window of a vehicle Tuesday in the 400 block of North Prairie Street, police said.bull; Kira S. Franklin, 20, of the 700 block of North Avenue in Aurora, was charged with retail theft Tuesday, according to a police report. She is accused of taking $158 worth of clothing from Kohl's, 251 N. Randall Road.bull; Someone stole a red-and-white "Yield" sign, a "Cross Traffic Does Not Stop" sign and their posts from the parking lot of the Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave., it was reported at 1:32 p.m. Monday, police said.Genevabull; Someone spray-painted "You R next" on a garage door in the 200 block of Barnside Lane between 11:50 p.m. Aug. 7 and 4 a.m. Aug. 8, police said.bull; Someone stole eight 2.5-ounce bottles of P.S. The burglar got in by pushing down a window that had been left open about 2 inches, damaging the window.bull; Paige N. Buss, 18, of the 600 block of Spring Street, Batavia, was charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful consumption of liquor by a minor, at 8:36 a.m. Aug. 6 in the 900 block of Batavia Avenue, according to a police report. She was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by Kathryn Parisi, 18, of the 900 block of Walnut Street, Batavia. Parisi was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and speeding, police said. Police say Buss was in possession of two grape-flavored cigars that had been filled with cannabis, and a bottle of vodka, and that Parisi had seven cans of beer and a glass pipe.bull; Someone spray-painted arrows, an "X," and "murder the spot" on the front porch, walkway and driveway of a home in the 200 block of Planter's Row between 7 p.m. Aug. 7 and 6 a.m. Aug. 8, police said.Kane Countybull; Several stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, freezer, microwave and oven, were reported stolen Monday from a foreclosed home on the 06N500 block of Kim Lane, near St. Charles, police said. The theft occurred sometime between 10 a.m. Aug. 13 and 9 a.m. Monday.
