Learn history of handbags at association open house

The Kane County Association for Home and Community Education will have an open house for the local Kane County units from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at the Extension Office, 535 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.

Guest speaker Marylyn Smaha will give a talk on the "History of Handbags: Functional to Funky." Bring one or two of your favorite handbags, beautiful or silly.
