Fall Fest volunteers needed:

Volunteers ages 13-up are needed to help at Fall Fest 2010 family festival and marketplace, Sept. 17-19 at Lake Park in Des Plaines.

Produced by the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Des Plaines History Center and the Des Plaines Park District, Fall Fest is a three day, outdoor, family friendly festival with live entertainment, food and drink, Country Fair Tent, KidZone, a car show, carnival, and an Open Air Market. Volunteers are needed for the KidZone, selling tickets, and grounds upkeep, among other jobs, from 6-11 p.m. Sept. 17; noon-11 p.m. Sept. 18 and noon-6 p.m. Sept. 19.

Volunteers will be compensated for their time with free Des Plaines facility passes good through August 2011. Call Linda Traina at (847) 391-5711 or complete the volunteer application on the Fall Fest website, FallFestDesPlaines.com.
