Supporters of Obama duped

On page 21 of the Aug. 6 edition of the Daily Herald, there is a short article regarding the fact that Bill Ayers, who co-founded the Weather Underground and helped bomb buildings in the '60s was retiring from the University of Illinois.

It is disgusting that only in America can a criminal have a position in a taxpayer funded institution, and will collect retirement.

However, there is a real misconception in the article, because it indicates that there is no evidence that Obama and Ayers were friends. This is a lie.

The first organizing meeting for Obama's state senatorial campaign was held in Ayers' apartment. Chicago Annenberg Challenge was a group managed by Ayers, and he hired Obama to work for them. The above association and many others with radical leftist revolutionaries that Obama participated with are well documented in the book, "The Manchurian President," by Aaron Klein.

I urge Obama supporters to read and search for the truth, no matter how painful it might be, to find out you were duped.

By the way, I am an independent and did not vote for McCain.
