Still waiting for answers

I read with interest Greg Guckenberger's letter concerning Congressman Foster's response to his concerns about the slick taxpayer funded mailings from Foster. We also received those mailings. However, of more concern is that on July 20 we sent an e-mail to Foster and Sen. Durbin expressing our concern over the failure of Congress to enact a fair and lasting formula to reimburse physicians for treating Medicare and TRICARE patients.

While Congress has enacted a 6-month temporary fix, without a permanent fix physicians will refuse to provide services, reduce services (ration) or discontinue Medicare participation. We requested the congressman's and senator's comments and position. As of Aug. 9, we have not received either. Perhaps they are too busy trying to figure out more ways to waste our tax dollars.
