Furlough days do affect pensions
Wow, the Mighty Quinn wants to take two days' pay per month away from all nonunion employees. Now I see why he gave all his pals those big pay increases. He says pensions won't be affected, but the amount deducted from a paycheck for pensions is based on a percentage. So if the amount of the paycheck is less, the amount going to the pension will be less.
I guess he is using the new political math.
