White Sox reinstate Teahen from disabled list

Prior to tonight's game vs. the Detroit Tigers, the Chicago White Sox returned infielder/outfielder Mark Teahen from his rehabilitation assignment at Class AAA Charlotte and reinstated him from the 15-day disabled list.

Teahen will start tonight's game against the Tigers in right field.

Teahen, 28, has been on the disabled list since June 1 (retroactive to May 31) with a fractured right middle finger. He batted .364 (12-33) with two doubles and four RBI in 11 rehab games with the Knights.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder is hitting .255 (35-137) with three home runs and 14 RBI in 45 games with the White Sox this season.
