Cornfest in Rolling Meadows
It's Cornfest time again in Rolling Meadows. The summer festival returns Saturday, Aug. 7, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the grounds of Community Church, 2720 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows.
A ticket will buy you a hamburger or hot dog, pop, a slice of watermelon and all the corn you can eat.
The arts and crafts fair and bazaar will be held 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. General tickets: $11; seniors $8; children 10 and under $5. Raffle, entertainment and the church's resale shop will be open.
