Read between lines of Dold's statements

With information being thrown at us from all over the place, it's our responsibility as voters now more than ever to do the work necessary to distinguish truth from fiction.

Tenth Congressional District candidate Bob Dold says he is a moderate Republican, but let's look at his most recent action that should warn us otherwise. Dold recently published material on the Web supporting a plan that would privatize Social Security, raise taxes on the middle class and eliminate Medicare. This plan would raise the debt by $2.2 trillion and raise taxes for those of us making between $20,000 and $200,000. The plan is so far right-wing that even Newt Gingrich doesn't support it. Moderate it is not.

Such a gap between Dold's various statements and beliefs, usually according to what group he is speaking to, should be a red flag to all voters, Republican or Democrat.
