Thanks for your donation

We would like to extend our appreciation and thanks to the individuals who stopped by to donate blood at the West Dundee blood drive at Spring Hill Mall on July 21. Through your generosity, Heartland Blood Center received 23 pints of blood to aid those desperately in need of blood this summer. Each pint donated is able to assist three people, thus nearly 70 people at our local hospitals will benefit from the total donations.

Each summer the village has put on this blood drive, the generosity of this community has been evident, and I continue to be impressed with the volunteerism and sense of pride that exists within the Dundee community. It is our hope that those of you who have not been able to donate this year will be able to participate next year to help us increase that quantity and help even more people in need.
