Markets shouldn't be on same day

I have been pining away for a local farmers market for as long as I can remember. We finally get TWO in my area, Long Grove and Buffalo Grove. But how silly is it that they are both on Sunday mornings. I would like to know who's brainy idea it was to have them both on the same day?

It would make much more sense if the local governments and/or chambers of commerce collaborate and schedule one municipality to have a Saturday farmers market and the other to have a Sunday farmers market. After I gobble up the delicious buys on Saturday, I would surely visit a Sunday farmers market for more goods, hence double my spending and stimulating our local economy.

Again, I am disillusioned and bewildered by elected officials that think they make good business decisions.
