Hanover Park is bleeding me dry

A resident of the duplexes in Woodlake Trails since 1977, I am sick to death of being harassed by village code enforcement officials!

Ticketed for parking over the sidewalk at $30 but cannot fit TWO cars within our "driveway limits." Cost me nearly $10K to update my porch - soffits, new windows. Had to reseal my driveway and "get rid of grass growing between the cracks" after I'd already done it once.

Has anyone seen even WORSE properties in disarray? This is not Oak Brook. We are NOT on the cover of Better Homes and Gardens!

I pay nearly $5,000/year in property taxes, and our tree branches that are STILL on the driveway for pickup? Been there at least a week.

And who is doing anything about these maple trees infested with soft scale? I don't see any ladybugs on MY property.

I am single, struggling to make due, and I am TIRED of this. Leave us alone! We are doing the best we can. This village cost me my life savings.
