Webster leaves DePaul to help Sadler at Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska head basketball coach Doc Sadler has filled out his three-member staff of assistants with the hiring of Tracy Webster from DePaul.
In a news release Monday, the Huskers say Webster is joining Wes Flanigan and Chris Croft. Flanigan was hired in May from UAB, and Croft was the Huskers' director of operations. Croft is being replaced by former Husker assistant David Anwar.
Flanigan and Webster are replacing Philip Mathews, who took an assistant's job at San Francisco, and Walter Roese, who left for a position at Hawaii.
Webster spent a year at DePaul after two years as an assistant at Kentucky. Webster also worked for three years as an assistant at Illinois and a year at Purdue.
Webster was an All-Big Ten Conference guard at Wisconsin.
