Koshgarian Rug Cleaners returns to Naperville

Koshgarian Rug Cleaners Inc., a family-owned and operated business since 1906, opened a new location today in Naperville at 500 W. 5th Ave.

Koshgarian Rug Cleaners closed its previous Naperville location in 2007 due to a restructuring of operations. "In 2007, we were on the verge of relocating our Naperville store when the economy slowed down," said owner Chuck Koshgarian.

With the Naperville location, Koshgarian Rug Cleaners hopes to better serve customers by offering a convenient drop-off location for area rugs. "Because of the cost savings, some of our customers prefer to drop off their area rugs for cleaning. This will make it more convenient for local customers, who have had to drive to our Hinsdale location. We have a strong customer base in and around Naperville, and we need to be here. We are bigger and better, and are excited to be back."

Koshgarian Rug Cleaners has been cleaning rugs and carpets since brothers Hagop and Mihron Koshgarian opened for business in 1906 in a two-story home in LaGrange.

By the mid-1950s, the business opened a state-of-the-art cleaning plant in Hinsdale, which remains the only operational plant in the western suburbs.

The Naperville location will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pickup and delivery service for area rugs is also available.
