Latham atop Tour of Elk Grove

New Zealander Peter Latham, a member of the Bissell Pro Cycling Team, beat out nearly 100 cyclists to win Friday's Stage 1 time trial (4.5 miles in length), the first leg of the three-stage men's professional race at the 2010 Alexian Brothers Tour of Elk Grove in Elk Grove Village.

Stage 2 - a 150K (93 mile) road race - is today at 4 p.m.
