Hoffman Estates shopping center sold

The Hoffman Village Shopping Center in Hoffman Estates has been sold to RMS Properties, a privately held Schaumburg investor.

The shopping center on the southeast corner of Golf and Barrington roads has tenants including Dominick's, Dunkin Donuts/Baskin-Robbins, Subway, GNC, Insure One, Fannie May, Check 'n' Go, the Putting Edge and Radio Shack.

It was purchased from Mid-America Real Estate Corp. The center, 158,313 square feet, was built in 1988. Wells Fargo Bank filed a foreclosure suit in January 2009 in Cook County Circuit Court
