Foster isn't a party line guy

My husband and I are strong supporters of Bill Foster. He's earned our vote not because of his political affiliation or our own political leanings, but because he's an incredibly dedicated and intelligent public servant working hard on behalf of the people he represents.

Sadly, today's political climate seems to bring out the worst in people. America has lost the idea that we can have reasonable disagreements, competing ideas and open discussions about the choices we face. Thankfully, Bill Foster is not a typical politician and operates by a different standard.

He has listened to all the voters of his district, regardless of which party they support, and has worked across the aisle during his short time in Congress. He also has stood up to his own party leaders when he disagreed with them, specifically voting against Democratic budgets because they spent far too much.

Independent, principled, fiscally responsible - those are the characteristics we need from our public servants and those are the reasons my husband and I will be voting for Bill Foster this November.
