Put American citizens first

I'm beginning to wonder if President Obama is an American. It is just appalling the way he has treated Jan Brewer, the governor of Arizona, who is trying to protect the American citizens of her state. I thought the job of the presidency was to uphold the Constitution and protect the citizens.

The Arizona immigration law is not "misdirected"; our government is. Anyone who can read English knows that the Arizona law is not racial profiling. Jan Brewer is trying to protect our country.

Anyone from any part of this world can get through our open borders. Unfortunately, a lot of them are people we don't want. We are an open target for terrorists. Why are our American troops all over the world protecting other countries, at our expense, and not us? We need a lot more troops than offered by President Obama, and guns like other countries have, and a get-tough policy against those who break our laws.

We need to stop coddling these people who have no respect for our country, flag and language. Most Americans want our borders closed and these illegal aliens deported. We don't want amnesty as it will only cost us more money.

Solving the immigration problem is simple. Fine all companies that employ illegal aliens and cut off their benefits. If there are no jobs and benefits, they will leave for their country of origin. They are already leaving Arizona. This will make more jobs for Americans who need them, and we will save money by not having benefits to pay.

Our country has already spent billions of dollars on illegal aliens. We have serious problems in our country, and America should come first.
