Rock band good, but they weren't Irish

Arlington Heights Irish Fest? What a disappointment. We looked forward to hearing some good Irish musicians performing Irish music. After all, wouldn't you expect that at an Irish Fest?

Instead there was a rock cover band playing hits by dated rock groups (did they think that old band's name was R.E. O'Speedwagon?).

I wonder if people went to a Rock Fest and the band was playing Black Velvet Band or Whiskey In The Jar with an Irish brogue would they think they had been misled?

Don't get me wrong. The band there was good at what they do. But they were the wrong band for an Irish Fest. Whoever runs the event should have known that. They owe an apology to people for misrepresenting the affair.
