More doctors, psychiatrists and aid for Iraq
Congratulations to a job well done on the article, "Humanitarian aid for all." For once, the people in Iraq are not numbers but actual living, breathing human beings with jobs, houses and families to take care of amid a violent war taking place.
The numbers are just staggering statistics with no faces or emotions.
And speaking of numbers, the fact that Iraq has only 100 psychiatrists to treat 30 million people is unbelievable. The lack of psychiatrists in the country causes people to pass drugs around like candy, which is why drug abuse is the number one problem in Iraq. The country is full of torn, war stricken families who shouldn't be drugged up until they have nothing left inside of them.
So instead of sending more weapons and soldiers to Iraq, how about we send some more doctors and humanitarian aid?
