Elgin chief a man of action

It's nice to know that our Elgin chief of police isn't just a guy behind a desk but a fellow who leapt from his seat in the Fourth of July parade to capture some hooligans and protect everyone in the parade and all the innocent bystanders. He really risked his own life to protect Elgin citizens. What a guy! Thanks, Chief.
